Developed and validated by clinical experts at UPMC and based on cognitive behavioral theory and mindfulness constructs, the app can be accessed anytime, anywhere via smartphone or tablet. Users have the option to connect with a PAS counselor directly from the platform. PAS counselors and coaches incorporate practice sessions on RxWell between scheduled sessions with PAS and recommend using the app for at least 15 minutes, two to three times each week as homework. The app is designed for people at many different stages in their health and wellness journeys. Progress trackers can sync with participant fitness wearables.
